Et la crise sanitaire actuelle confirme et assoit leur succ\u00e8s. Quels sont les bienfaits pour la sant\u00e9 de la pratique du sport, notamment les sports d&rsquo;endurance, comme le running, le trail, la randonn\u00e9ee, accessibles \u00e0 tous ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencesetavenir.fr\/sante\/os-et-muscles\/comment-l-activite-physique-renforce-les-os-et-l-immunite_152066\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Avoir une meilleure sant\u00e9 osseuse<\/strong> et am\u00e9liorer notre syst\u00e8me immunitaire<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors d&rsquo;une course \u00e0 pied, le squelette subit de nombreux impacts. La question se pose de savoir si c&rsquo;est n\u00e9faste pour le corps humain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais le corps humain et les os doivent garder leur densit\u00e9. Nos m\u00e9tiers sont plus s\u00e9dentaires. La g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation des travaux de bureaux et du t\u00e9l\u00e9travail limitent les sollicitations de certains muscles et os. Et \u00e0 terme, notre squelette en souffre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est plus cette s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;absence de sport au quotidien qui peuvent g\u00e9n\u00e9rer lors d&rsquo;une reprise du sport des troubles divers : crampes, points de c\u00f4t\u00e9, voire des contractures, tendinites &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est bien s\u00fbr \u00e9vident que les cartilages ayant d\u00e9j\u00e0 subi un traumatisme (torsion ou choc par exemple) sont en revanche plus fragiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D&rsquo;o\u00f9 l&rsquo;importance de veiller <a href=\"https:\/\/www.corunning.fr\/blog\/2021\/04\/02\/interet-dun-entrainement-fractionne-echauffement-et-etirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00e0 s&rsquo;\u00e9chauffer, \u00e0 s&rsquo;\u00e9tirer<\/a>, \u00e0 r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer et \u00e0 \u00e9couter son corps !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e8s le IV\u00e8me avant J.-C., Aristote \u00e9voquait la question de l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 :&nbsp;<em>\u00ab&nbsp;\u2026un Homme tombe en \u00e9tat de maladie comme le r\u00e9sultat du manque d\u2019exercice\u2026&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La pratique d\u2019une activit\u00e9 physique, r\u00e9guli\u00e8re et sans exc\u00e8s, stimulerait le syst\u00e8me immunitaire alors que le stress et la fatigue affaibliraient le syst\u00e8me immunitaire qui deviendrait ainsi plus vuln\u00e9rable aux infections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et il ne faut pas oublier que notre syst\u00e8me immunitaire vieillit avec nous, et les r\u00e9ponses immunitaires face aux infections, notamment respiratoires, diminuent donc quand on prend de l&rsquo;\u00e2ge. L\u2019activit\u00e9 physique pr\u00e9viendrait ce vieillissement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand au sport pratiqu\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on intensive, selon plusieurs \u00e9tudes scientifiques, il affaiblirait \u00e9galement le syst\u00e8me immunitaire. Quand l\u2019effort est intense, la production de cellules, et notamment des lymphocytes, augmente tr\u00e8s rapidement pour ensuite diminuer, voire dispara\u00eetre apr\u00e8s l\u2019effort. Apr\u00e8s leur entra\u00eenement, les athl\u00e8tes de haut niveau peuvent ainsi \u00eatre expos\u00e9s aux risques d\u2019infections, notamment respiratoires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Renforcer le syst\u00e8me cardiaque<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La pratique de la course \u00e0 pied ou de trails sur de moyennes et longues distances am\u00e9liore la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.passeportsante.net\/fr\/Actualites\/Dossiers\/Fiche.aspx?doc=course-a-pied#:~:text=La%20course%20%C3%A0%20pied%20sur,et%20augmente%20la%20masse%20osseuse.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">performance cardio-vasculaire<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pendant un run, un trail, c\u2019est l\u2019ensemble du corps qui est sollicit\u00e9 pour fournir des efforts. Le muscle cardiaque doit augmenter son rythme pour suivre l\u2019intensit\u00e9 de l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique. Ce qui va, petit \u00e0 petit, le renforcer, le muscler. Lorsque le c\u0153ur est en bonne sant\u00e9, la circulation sanguine est optimale et le risque d\u2019hypertension r\u00e9duit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par ailleurs, la pratique de la course \u00e0 pied \u00e0 haute intensit\u00e9 augmente la production de bons cholest\u00e9rols (lipoprot\u00e9ines HDL). Cela participe \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les risques d&rsquo; Accident vasculaire c\u00e9r\u00e9bral (AVC) ou de crise cardiaque.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la combustion de calories et r\u00e9duire le taux de sucre dans le sang<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Les sports d&rsquo;endurance (course \u00e0 pied, running, trail, &#8230;) affinent la silhouette et optimisent la combustion de calories.&nbsp;Toutefois, pour perdre quelques kilos en trop, il faudra veiller, parall\u00e8lement au sport, \u00e0 diminuer l&rsquo;apport calorique et ainsi d\u00e9penser plus de calories qu&rsquo;on en ing\u00e8re !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsqu&rsquo;on pratique un sport, les muscles pompent dans le sang leur carburant, leur \u00e9nergie pour s&rsquo;alimenter et r\u00e9sister \u00e0 l\u2019intensit\u00e9 des efforts physiques. Le sport d&rsquo;endurance permet ainsi, de facto, de r\u00e9duire le taux de sucre dans le sang. Les sports d\u2019endurance pratiqu\u00e9s \u00e0 haute intensit\u00e9 favorisent \u00e9galement la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019insuline. Cela permet de maintenir un taux de glyc\u00e9mie stable dans le sang et r\u00e9duire ainsi les risques de d\u00e9velopper un diab\u00e8te.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Les bienfaits pour le mental<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>De multiples \u00e9tudes scientifiques ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une activit\u00e9 sportive permet de diminuer le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.passeportsante.net\/fr\/Actualites\/Dossiers\/DossierComplexe.aspx?doc=Les-5-meilleurs-sports-antistress-le-jogging\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stress<\/a>, un bienfait non n\u00e9gligeable dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 actuelle ou le stress est omnipr\u00e9sent. La pratique d\u2019un sport augmente la production de noradr\u00e9naline, hormone qui rend le cerveau moins r\u00e9ceptif au stress. Donc, rien ne vaut une course \u00e0 pied pour d\u00e9stresser apr\u00e8s une longue journ\u00e9e de travail, avant une r\u00e9union importante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le sport, et la course \u00e0 pied notamment, permettent de tendre vers un \u00e9tat de pl\u00e9nitude. Une \u00e9tude, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par l&rsquo;\u00e9quipementier am\u00e9ricain Brooks, d\u00e9montre que la pratique de la course \u00e0 pied transporte les coureurs dans un \u00e9tat de bien-\u00eatre qui d\u00e9bloque de nombreuses choses : surcroit de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, de nouvelles id\u00e9es, d\u00e9connexion temporaire avec les probl\u00e8mes de la vie quotidienne.<br>On d\u00e9branche du quotidien, une parenth\u00e8se pour soi et pour le bien-\u00eatre physique et mental ! Des bienfaits pour la sant\u00e9, pour le corps et l&rsquo;esprit, gr\u00e2ce au sport, qui dit mieux ??<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Avoir une meilleure estime de soi<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Boucler sa course, atteindre son objectif, le d\u00e9passer, faire un meilleur chrono &#8230; constituent des petites victoires. Celles-ci nous poussent \u00e0 croire en nous, en notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 nous d\u00e9passer, \u00e0 d\u00e9passer nos limites. Cela augmente notre force mentale, notre estime de soir, et notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9sister aux obstacles&nbsp;tant physiquement que mentalement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et au final, apr\u00e8s une bonne sortie en plein air, quid de la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil !! Les muscles fourbus, l&rsquo;esprit a\u00e9r\u00e9, les bras de Morph\u00e9e nous accueillent pour un bon sommeil lourd et r\u00e9parateur pour se r\u00e9veiller en pleine forme (ou en courbatures &#8230; mais \u00e7a on en reparle ici ;-)).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors, on aura convaincu les derniers sceptiques sur les bienfaits pour la sant\u00e9 de la pratique du sport ?
